Leeds Bradford International Airport is just 12 miles from the centre of Harrogate, 15 miles from Knaresborough, 22 miles from Ripon. The airport serves incoming flights from across Europe as well as regular domestic locations including Edinburgh and the south of England.
On approach to Leeds Bradford Airport take in the distinctive landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, with the Harrogate District making up the rolling valleys and hills to the north just before you land.
There is an hourly bus service (the 747 Airport Direct service) to/from Harrogate Bus Station during the day from where buses can be caught from there to the rest of Harrogate district. Car hire and taxis are available at the airport and Harrogate taxi firms operate services to and from the airport.
Visitors arriving in the UK by Manchester Airport will find regular train services will bring them to Leeds where they can change to the Harrogate line which will bring them to the very centre of the town.
