This Grade II Listed stone built cottage offers truly comfortable holiday accommodation for two people. Whether you wish to enjoy some fantastic walking, mountain-biking, tour the local area or simply soak in the restful and rural surroundings of Shaw Mills.
For the road cyclists out there, the Tour de Yorkshire recently passed our front door so there challenging rides available. We offer secure bike storage and expert advice is on hand from our on-site cycling guru David!
The spacious sitting room has large comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove, high beamed ceilings and garden/village views - making it the perfect place to curl up and read a book. There is a flat screen TV, DVD player and a library of DVDs and books.
You can relax in front of the stove, for which free logs and kindling are provided. Holly Beck Stables has superfast broadband. If music is your thing, then there is a CD player.
The kitchen is well equipped with crockery and utensils, along with a fridge/freezer box, dishwasher, electric cooker, toaster, kettle, and microwave. A ‘Welcome to Yorkshire Hamper’, is provided for you to enjoy. A table and chairs, seating four people, is available for guests to dine together. All tableware is stored in the kitchen for guests to enjoy when having a night of entertaining - along with the corkscrew!
On the ground floor, in the spacious shower-room and bedroom there are luxury toiletries, luxuriously soft, fluffy towels and white dressing gowns. There is a flat screen TV with built-in DVD player and a dock for your IPod on the clock radio - all for you to indulge and enjoy in some R&R. There is a laundry area, with a washing machine and an airer.
The cottage is set around a courtyard with elegant outdoor furniture – perfect for enjoying alfresco dining or a relaxing drink. There is easy access and plenty of space for parking in front of the cottage too!
