From the South:
Take the A1 to junction 47 and exit on to the A59 (York, Harrogate and Knaresborough). Take the first exit towards Knaresborough and Harrogate. After 2 ½ miles turn right at the roundabout to Knaresborough and follow the A59 straight through the town centre. When you reach the second set of traffic lights at the bottom of the High Street, turn left, and then immediately right onto the B6165 towards Ripley. A couple of miles after you have passed through the village of Nidd, you will come to a roundabout, take the third exit A61 towards Ripon. At the second roundabout, take the second exit on to the B6165 towards Pateley Bridge.

From the North:
Take the A1 south to the junction with the A61 (Ripon and Thirsk). Turn right to Ripon, following the signs around the by-pass directing you (still on the A61) towards Harrogate. Seven miles south of Ripon you come to a roundabout: take the third exit to the B6165 towards Pateley Bridge and Burnt Yates.

After 1/2 mile on the B6165, turn left onto Fountains Road, towards Fountains Abbey. After 1 1/2 miles, you will come to a cross road, turn left to Bishop Thornton. As you approach the village you will see a church on your right, take the lane on the right immediately after the church. Proceed up the lane a couple of hundred yards, passing our property, Roseberry Cottage on your left. Take the left fork in the lane behind our house and as you come to the end of our property you will see double wooden gates on your left, this is your entrance to the guest accommodation.
