Egg-cellent Easter ideas to enjoy in Harrogate district

The daffodils are out, the skies are blue, and we are getting egg-cited about the Easter holidays. There are plenty of activities across the district to keep the family occupied, here’s just a few of our favourites from the Easter eggs-travaganza to get you in the mood!

Hop along to Mother Shipton’s, Knaresborough during the Easter holidays (Saturday 2nd – Sunday 24th April) for an egg-ceptional time. Follow the Bunny Door Trail and look out for giant eggs and some cracking photo opportunities for pics of wonderful Easter scenes throughout the beautiful woodland. Pack a picnic, bring your four-legged friend and spend the day eggs-ploring one of England’s oldest tourist attractions.

There are 10 challenges for little legs to discover across the gardens, armed with an activity pack, map and pencil as they follow the nature trail and find out about flora, bugs and beasties. Ice creams and a chocolate egg provide a well-earned treat and reward at the end of the trail.
