Six Spots to Spot Santa
Six places to find Christmas magic and create special memories with families and friends this winter.

1. Stockeld Park, Wetherby Road, Wetherby, LS22 4AN
Father Christmas and his reindeer enjoy relaxing at Stockeld Park with its wide-open spaces and delicious hot chocolate. They also like to test out the sleigh with gentle rides around the magical Enchanted Forest.
Saturday 21st November – Sunday 3rd January. Please book ahead.

2. Mother Shipton’s Cave, Prophesy House, Harrogate Road, High Bridge, Knaresborough, HG5 8DD
Father Christmas is a long-standing friend of Mother Shipton, Knaresborough’s famous prophetess, and a regular visitor to the town. He feels at home here, working in his grotto, making presents and welcoming visitors.
Friday 20th November – Friday 24th December. Please book ahead.

3. The Harrogate Father Christmas Experience at The Crown Hotel, Harrogate
The Christmas Council have arrived in Harrogate to show you how Father Christmas gets ready for the big day and they need your help. Guests will be welcomed by a team of elves at the special Elf School entrance, before chief elf Tinsel, gives you some elf & safety training. In association with Harrogate BID
Saturday 20th November – Friday 24th December. With a number of dates and performance times please check the website for full details.
4. Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway Santa Special,
Santa’s favourite mode of transport (apart from magical reindeer drawn sleigh) is steam train and he will be enjoying himself every weekend from Saturday 20th November at Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. Join him for festive fun for all the family. Your one-hour steam train ride will depart from Bolton Abbey Railway and include a present from Father Christmas when he comes to say ‘hello’ and greet you at your seat.
Weekends from Saturday 20th November and 20th – 24th December. Please book ahead.

5. Santa’s Yorkshire Post Office Harrogate International Festivals Offices, 37 Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1DB
Father Christmas watches from the window at this shimmering, festive post office in Harrogate where children send their letters off to the North Pole. If you post your letter early including your address and you may even get a reply. Sponsored by Harrogate BID.

6. Sunday Lunch with Santa at Swinton Park, Swinton Estate, Ripon, HG4 4HG
Join Santa as he enjoys a festive meal by the log fires and twinkling tree lights before his big day.
