Bar & Restaurant EightyEight offers a unique fusion of Yorkshire produce and far Eastern flavours. Design-led décor is set against the stunning backdrop of the ornamental Japanese Gardens of Grantley Hal. There is also a tranquil outdoor terrace for al-fresco drinking and dining where you can relax to the sounds of the waterfalls within the adjacent Japanese garden.

Start your visit with one of the tantalising cocktails on the extensive drinks list before descending into the atmospheric surroundings of the restaurant.
Menus
The dynamic Chefs take inspiration from classic Asian dishes to create a modern eastern experience using the finest Yorkshire produce. The A la Carte menu offers a selection of small and large plates – ideal for sharing. You will find traditional favourites such as Thirkleby duck pancakes and bao buns sitting next to robata grilled diver scallops or miso glazed aubergine. There is also the option to enjoy an eight course taster menu, 8 at EightyEight, which is the ideal way to experience a wide range of dishes to make the most of your visit.
The Sunday Sharers Lunch menu brings a new and vibrant take on the traditional Sunday lunch and is perfect to enjoy with friends and family.

Please note that due to the nature of the menu it is really important that we ascertain serious allergens or intolerances in advance. The restaurant is unable to cater for allergens which include soy, sulphite and sesame as well as rice and peanut allergies as dishes are prepared in a kitchen where cross-contamination can occur.
