Address

Church Steet, Goldsborough, HG5 8NR

Goldsborough Hall, with five AA Gold Stars, is a private and exclusive stately home just outside Knaresborough, overlooking 12 acres of historic gardens and tranquil parkland. It offers fine dining in the superb Dining Room and was recently awarded three AA rosettes and mentioned in the Michelin Guide.

Our elegant Afternoon Tea is served in the historic state rooms or Orangery. Indulge in a quintessential English experience, with freshly prepared sandwiches and cakes accompanied by our exclusive range of loose-leaf teas.

The Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed 17th-century mansion. This hidden gem was home to the late Queen’s aunt, Princess Mary, throughout the 1920s and has been lovingly restored to its former glory. The hall is perfect for a relaxing stay, surrounded by beautiful gardens, including 120ft herbaceous borders, more than 50,000 daffodils in spring, Japanese cherry trees and a lime tree walk that’s a quarter of a mile long.

With its beautiful views across the gardens and grounds, Goldsborough Hall is also a truly romantic wedding venue at any season. Used as a private family home, it is famed for its warm family atmosphere & wonderful hospitality. The venue can host events of various sizes, from intimate gatherings of 6 to lush, lavish events of 250.
