Horticap Nature Trail, Cafe, Shop and Garden Centre
A free nature trail for the whole family, with lots of natural and manmade features to discover, including a bird hide, giant metal sculptures, a 'fairyland', large pond (fenced), a stage for budding actors, child-size cottages and more. We've provided species boards so you can spot insects, butterflies, birds, plants, and fungi. Also on site is Hopkins Cafe, a gift shop, and garden centre. Horticap is an independent, registered charity with suitably qualified staff and a team of volunteers who provide adults with learning and other disabilities training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills.
Because we deal with vulnerable students, we request that visitors wear masks when moving around the cafe, gift shop, and glasshouse.Read more
