Nidderdale Llamas
Llama Trekking, Alpaca Walking and Llama and Alpaca Experiences in the heart of the Nidderdale Valley.
If you’re looking for the ‘Feel Good’ factor, love the countryside, animals or just something totally different, then this is for you. Forget your everyday stresses and engage in a really memorable experience that is totally unique.
Llamas are amazingly calm gentle creatures, who love the companionship of humans, therefore make ideal walking partners. You can’t ‘ride’ a llama but connect with them in a therapeutic way, whilst strolling alongside their fluffy necks. The farm also has alpacas, who are fun characters with their fluffy hairstyles and cute looks!
You can choose from a relaxing short walk or trek to a more adventurous longer option. There are 6 options in total which also includes a non-walking option for the elderly or disabled.
The Nidderdale Team are very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate. They have high standards of animal welfare, whilst providing you with a top-quality experience. Their aim is to have happy llamas and alpacas and happy customers who leave relaxed and smiling from ear to ear!
Our treks are primarily an adult activity, there are age limits for children to partake and everything must be pre-booked in advance.
Refreshments are included in some of the options, being rated 5 stars they pride themselves in quality picnics and cater for all dietary needs too.
Please remember the farm operates 12 months a year, 7 days a week, however advanced Pre -Booking is the only way to access the farm as it is not open to the public. Please make sure you book before you travel to avoid disappointment.
