Swinsty Reservoir Walking Routes
Swinsty Reservoir, managed by Yorkshire Water sits in the Washburn Valley on the southern side of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
IMPORTANT: Yorkshire water are currently undertaking important improvement works to Swinsty Reservoir. This means the walk around the reservoir is not currently available as a full circuit, though an enjoyable there and back again walk is still available.
Sitting just below Fewston Reservoir and sharing parking and facilities Swinsty offers walking routes for able and disabled visitors to explore the banks of the reservoir as well as Bridleways for Horseriders.
The car park has public conveniences, ample picnic facilities as well as a regular Ice Cream van.
