The Owners of Swinton Park support green and sustainable tourism for which they have been awarded the Gold Standard Green Tourism award. Their initiatives include an in-house laundry utilizing O-zone technology for low temperature energy conservation, hot water and heating from carbon neutral technology and recycling of all waste or its direction to a ‘waste to energy’ scheme. Their prestigious restaurant and cookery school source much of their produce from the 4-acre garden or from local suppliers and producers.
