A proper Yorkshire pub serving ales since 1823, Karl & Amanda local award winning owners have brought this little gem back to life. A locals real Ale bar and a country style restaurant serving local Ales from the Dales and ten wines by the Glass...Twenty gins from inspired local suppliers. You will find gastro-pub food here and fresh daily fish specials on our daily changing blackboards.Sea Bass, Lemon sole, mussels, fresh Hake fillet, Seafood in puff pastry, fish & chips, King Scallops and home cured Gravadlax will give you a little taster of what we do.The Wild Swan features an open kitchen so you can see our chefs in action as they prepare local meats, award winning cheeses, mouth watering Sandwiches, Pies, Dales lamb and great Rib eye steak. It's all about the food...Open every day, all day for drinks.. Food 12 till 2:30 evening 5 till 9:30.. Serving roast lunch all day on a Sunday from 12 Midday till 7pm with fresh Yorkshire pudding, Roast meats, proper gravy, Roasties and some fresh fishes.What is not to like about the Wild Swan?We are adding some bedrooms to hopefull yopen by the end of 2019, so you can come and stay with us as well.We would love to see you at the Wild Swan, just off the A1M junc 48 we are really accessible whether you are visiting yorkshire or passing by on your way between North and South.
