We are excited to welcome Chapter House Theatre Company to the Knaresborough Castle in September to give you a spectacular performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

Star-crossed Athenian lovers, playful fairies and hilarious traveling players make for an unforgettable performance of magical theatre in magical surroundings. Enjoy a wonderful evening of Shakespeare’s best-loved romantic comedy, complete with beautiful Elizabethan costumes and a splendid musical score. A glorious welcome back to theatre under the stars for family, friends and children of all ages.

‘Combining enthusiasm, impeccable voicing and devastating use of visual humour, Chapterhouse bring Shakespeare to life in an exhilarating and raucously entertaining fashion.’ Edinburgh Evening News

Doors open at 6pm, the production starts at 7pm. The performance will last around 90 minutes (with no interval) and will take place in all but the worst weather. Please bring your own deck chairs, rugs and picnics etc. for the performance.

Please note, tickets can only be purchased online, if you have any enquiries about the production, you can call the number provided.
