West Park Stray in the centre of Harrogate will be transformed into a family-friendly fun-fest to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  Taking place over the four days of the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend there will be live music, family films and live broadcast of the main events taking place in London.


So bring a picnic and a blanket and settle in for a weekend of summer fun.


Jubilee Square will be a place for families and friends to bring a picnic and watch the events happening live in London via our big screen.  Join us for this fantastic opportunity to celebrate a magnificent day with a variety of fun events and activities.

Do you need a ticket for the event?
This is a free event and you do not need a ticket.

What time does the event start and finish?

Thursday 2nd June, 10am – 7pm
Friday 3rd June, 11am – 7pm
Saturday 4th June, 1pm – 10:30pm
Sunday 5th June, 12noon – 7pm

Will there be food & drink available?

Not on Jubilee Square itself, but please pick up your picnic on your way to the Stray. You will also find a choice of food and drink stores a short walk away in Harrogate town centre.
All that we ask is that you dispose of your own litter in the bins provided to make sure that the site is clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy over the weekend.


Will there be toilets on the site?
Yes, temporary toilets will be provided throughout the event including accessible facilities.


Can I bring my own seating?
We do not advise bringing your own seating. We recommend those planning to stay a while bring a picnic blanket to enjoy the entertainment on offer.

Gazebos and ball games are not permitted in Jubilee Square during the event – but visitors are welcome to use areas of the Stray outside of Jubilee Square for ball games during the event.

Is the event dog friendly?

Yes, there is even a dog show that you can enter to show off your dog’s talents. All you need to do is register from 1:30pm on Friday.
We ask that all dogs are kept on leads whilst on site and you are responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times including cleaning up after them.
There are dog bins available on The Stray.


What happens if it rains?
This is an outdoor event so please come prepared for the Great British weather. The event will go ahead in rain however if adverse weather does affect the delivery of the event we will notify you on the Visit Harrogate social media channels. But let’s all hope for some Bank Holiday sunshine!
