For centuries, museums have played an integral role in preserving the history of our society. Exhibits show us how our nation, our communities and our cultures came to be and without them, those stories could be forgotten – but are we getting the full picture? A panel of experts will discuss the importance of museums in preserving our history, literature, art and culture, and how their role is changing in a modern world. With philosopher, psychologist and broadcaster Dr Peter Hughes, author of the compelling A History of Love and Hate in 21 Statues spanning continents, religions and eras and British architecture historian, author and curator Owen Hopkins
