Sam’s work is bright, colourful, larger than life and moves between the abstract into figurative. He has an innate ability to make the abstract resonate with the viewer through use of colour & form. One of his sculptures appears in the home of Tony Stark in the Iron Man movie, by marvel comics. Skimming Stones of the Nile will be on view at the gallery.Marcus Levine lives and works in Yorkshire. On display, will be a portrait of Sylvester Stallone in character as Rocky, signed by Mr Stallone and forms the main attraction at the gallery.Slavo Cech, whose family hail from the Cech Republic. lives and works in Canada. His medium is bent steel and has created a large following in Canada. One of his sculptures was presented to Prince Edward, by the then Canadian Prime Minister. His current series of sculptures focus on utilising the forms of bent reed grasses and using the natural curves from life to create beautiful abstracts. Refections will be on display in the gallery.Patricia Volk, originally from Belfast Ireland, is named as one of the top 50 UK living female artists. Her work is in clay, sensitive and thought-provoking. Unfortunately, due to a large London exhibition no work is available for this show in Harrogate.
