Take an hour-long walk on Tuesday 19 July and talk to National Trust Regional Archaeologist Mark Newman to revisit the latest garden excavations. Were there ever more wings attached to the hall? What did the garden look like before? As part of the Festival of Archaeology, join Mark, who contributed with the experts on The Great British Dig following filming last summer. Revisit the researched areas and listen to his interpretation of the results so far.Sessions start at 11:00, 13:00 or 15:00, sign up on the day. Normal admission charges apply or free to National Trust and RHS members.
