An absolute must for garden lovers, the four day Summer Garden Show at RHS Harlow Carr features special plants to buy, demonstrations by experts, mouth-watering food and drink as well as live music throughout the day. Browse, buy, and pick up advice from 15 specialist nurseries, then enjoy a relaxing stroll in the stunning surroundings of the 58-acre garden.

Enhance your garden with some really special cultivars lovingly grown by these knowledgeable nurseries, including choice flowers, herbs, grasses and a whole host of hardy perennials and shrubs. Speak to the growers so you can really understand what’s going to work in your garden, how to care for the plants and enjoy them for years to come.

Visitors to the show can enjoy demonstrations and workshops throughout the day. These will be repeated in person at intervals and screened beside the lake too, so they can be enjoyed at leisure from a deckchair in the garden.

Renowned Yorkshire-based gardener and RHS judge Martin Fish has over 30 years of experience of sharing his enthusiasm and expert knowledge at countless shows and in written and broadcast media.

Floral designer Jonathan Moseley hosts a floral workshop, giving visitors all the inspiration and knowledge they need to create stunning cut summer flower displays, from planting a cutting garden to arranging blooms in a vase.

A live music programme each day by the Winter Walk features talented vocalist Catherine Rannus and instrumentalists Made2Measure Brass.

Add to this a delectable catering offer alongside the iconic Bettys Tea Rooms and Tea House, plus a special gin and rum bar, and you have the recipe for a perfect day out.

As well as taking home some special purchases, the RHS community outreach team will be on hand to inspire visitors to take away some fantastic ideas around sharing their love of gardening with friends and family.

This new event has been carefully planned to ensure visitors can enjoy the Garden Show experience in a safe and relaxing environment.

Tickets for the Summer Garden Show must be pre-booked and the show is open from 8.30am – 6.30pm each day.

Visit www.rhs.org/harlowcarr for more information and to book tickets.

Getting there: By Car: Ample accessible parking available. By Train: Harrogate Station is approximately 1½ miles from the garden; taxis are available from outside the station. On Foot: A lovely 1½ mile walk runs from Harrogate's Valley Gardens, through the Pinewoods to the garden.
