Côte Brasserie, located on Albert Street, is inspired by the brasseries of Paris, championing relaxed all-day dining and serving authentic French classics made from great quality, fresh ingredients. Open all day from 8am on weekdays and 9am on weekends, Côte serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, just like a true Parisienne brasserie.
On the menu, guests will always find classic French favourites such as steak frites, tuna Niçoise and chargrilled Breton chicken. There is a tempting selection of desserts on offer and Côte’s must try crème caramel is a much-loved house speciality.
Accredited by Coeliac UK, Côte is proud of its comprehensive and delicious gluten free menu, which has received high praise from diners, the press and Coeliac UK itself. Côte maintains high standards in gluten free food preparation and staff training and understands how important it is to be able to offer people who follow a gluten free diet, reliable and safe dining.
The wine list is extensive and informative, yet reasonably priced, featuring wines from a variety of producers across France. Growing interest in eating with the seasons, along with Côte’s commitment to sourcing high quality ingredients, results in monthly-changing specials and weekday lunch and early evening menus, ensuring there is always something new to delight both regular and first-time guests. At £10.95 for two courses and £12.95 for three courses, the weekday lunch and early evening set menu provides outstanding value and lends itself perfectly to a quick lunch or relaxed dining. Popular dishes include pork rillettes with sourdough bread and pan roasted cod with ratatouille and a lemon and olive oil dressing.
The same care and attention to detail applies to Côte’s breakfast menus. The menu is full of choice and again, very reasonably priced. The renowned eggs Benedict with silky-smooth homemade Hollandaise, in particular, is a favourite among guests. There is also a signature French breakfast, which includes an award-winning boudin noir, or try a croque monsieur, French toast or a vegetarian breakfast that is making a name for itself too, to mention just a few more menu choices! With long lazy brunches very much “en vogue” at the moment, at weekends, breakfast is served until 1pm.
