Official Grand Depart Hubs Announced

The Grand Depart organisers have announced the official Spectator hubs for the big weekend in July, and as well the Harrogate Borough Council supported hubs in the are there will be two large official Grand Depart Spectator hubs in the District.  They will offer refreshments, a big screen and will open for both days of the Yorkshire Grand Depart.

Harrogate West Park, Stage 1 finish

Just a stone's throw away from the first day's finish line, Harrogate's West Park will be buzzing with fans cheering on their favourite riders. Running from 3 - 6 July the park will have the best of local market produce. A big screen will make for the ultimate viewing experience for the expected 15,000 visitors.

Knaresborough Castle

Sited only a few hundred metres from the race in the ruins of Knaresborough Castle, this former fortress is a prime viewing location for the race. With a capacity of 4,000 it's expected to be popular with families and cycling fans alike. It has a whole host of facilities including portable toilets, large screen, catering with local food market, and a disabled viewing area.
