Harrogate Heritage Plaque Trails

Address

Across Harrogate

Discover the history and story through its significant buildings and sites.  92 heritage plaques mark the sites that played a formative role in Harrogate’s development into the popular spa town and visitor destination that it is today.

From the town’s original railway station to the great hotels of the Victorian era Harrogate’s buildings and points of interest show the town’s unique origins and growth.

A guide to the heritage plaques is available from the Visitor Information Centre and is also available on the Heritage Plaques website.  You can also download our Harrogate Plaques Android App to your phone to follow the trails.

The guides offer suggested routes around the plaques, using four zones or trails.
