Newby Hall & Gardens is the the perfect spot for a day out that the whole family can enjoy.
Beautiful, award winning gardens sit alongside the legendary Adventure Playground, complete with miniature train, pedalo boats, water fountains, swing boats and much, much more!
There is so much to do and see, that one day is never enough! There are lots of family events throughout the season, including TractorFest, Sports Cars in the Park, Fireworks Championships, Outdoor Shakespeare and for the first time this year The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show will be coming to Newby!
The gardens are something to behold, with many smaller gardens leading off from the world famous double borders which lead down to the River Ure.
The house, which can be visited by timed tour is full of treasures and is a wonderful example of Georgian interior decoration.
A spectacular Dollshouse Exhibition has been added, with over 70 exquisite houses on display. This exhibition has proved to be incredibly popular with all our visitors, whether they are 3 or 93!
The Bear House has over 1000 teddy bears on display including the original Paddington Bear from the much loved animated TV series of the 70s and 80s and the original Fozzie Bear
Newby Hall holds the National Collection of Cornus and was named Garden of the Year by Historic Houses in 2019 by the Historic Houses Association and Christies.
