Ripon Walled Garden
Once part of the Bishop’s Palace, Ripon Walled Garden is now home to the Ripon Community Link Charity. This wonderful, peaceful site was once a working kitchen garden and has been used and developed by the Charity since 1995 working with adults and young people with learning disabilities.
The site boasts a plant nursery, orchard, woodland and shop with take-away snacks and drinks. With free parking, a beautiful green space, a small play area enclosed in the wall and the woodland bird hide and willow room, it is a wonderful place to relax and explore.
There is a small shop selling our produce made using ingredients grown on site including jams, chutneys, apple juice locally pressed from our own crops and honey produced in the hives on site.
We are open all year round so come and discover one of Ripon’s hidden gems and help to support the valuable work of our charity.
