The Frazer Theatre

Address

Back High Street (behind Tesco) Knaresborough North Yorkshire HG5 0EQ

Welcome to The Frazer Theatre, Knaresborough - home of The Knaresborough Players. The Frazer Theatre is located just off the High Street behind Zolsha restaurant and Tesco. It is owned by The Knaresborough Players, an amateur dramatics society formed in 1962. The Knaresborough Players are a registered charity and the Frazer is run as a not-for-profit community theatre staffed entirely by volunteers. The Frazer Theatre is fast becoming known for its wide variety of drama, music & dance productions, both amateur and professional, as well as for its Youth Theatre, Generation Arts, which was established in January 2012. We host many of the town’s feva festival events in August, as well as the Nidderdale & District Drama Festival each March. For a full list of upcoming shows and events, please visit the ‘What’s On’ section of our website. Read more
